About this event
Pageturners read widely, from nonfiction like Palo Alto: A History of California, Capitalism, and the World by Malcolm Harris to fiction like James by Percival Everett to biography like The Worlds I See: Curiosity, Exploration, and Discovery at the Dawn of AI by Fei Fei Li and graphic novels like The Best We Could Do by Thi Bui . Local authors like Mike Trigg , Susie Hara and Olga Zilberbourg and visiting International Booker Prize winner Andrey Kurkov ( Diary of an Invasion ) have attended our discussions and talked to us about their books and their writing. What will we read next?
It's anyone's guess. Members suggest books, and then vote on on them. Join us the second Thursday of the month in the Embarcadero Room.
