True dwarf? Multi-graft? How do I plant a new tree?
Local nurseries will begin stocking bare root fruit trees in December. Come learn what decisions affect the success of your orchard. Don Bollinger leads the orchard team at the Master Gardener demonstration garden at Martial Cottle Park in South San Jose.
He leads year-round hands-on learning and demonstrations of fruit tree management including winter pruning, water, fertilizer, pest management, soil health and fruit variety selection. No need to register, but registering means you will receive a reminder email the day before.
